Take an Amazing trip Around Ireland With Campervan Ireland.
The best way to see Ireland is to take an epic road trip around the country and explore the breathtaking scenery, quaint old villages, and everything else this wonderful country has to offer. One of the best things about exploring Ireland in a motorhome is that you can explore as many regions as you'd like and really get a feel for the country in a short amount of time, like a weekend trip.
Campervan Ireland is located in Dublin and the perfect location to start your trip. You can catch a few of the incredible sights in the capital city before you start your campervan adventure to explore the countryside of Ireland.
Wild Atlantic Way
The Wild Atlantic Way is the most well-known route that runs the entire length along the west coast of the Republic of Ireland. It starts in County Cork and runs through various coastal towns, including Galway, and ends in County Donegal in the north. This is the most famous route for anyone who wants to take a weekend trip or discover Ireland in a motorhome.
You'll be impressed by the rugged coastline, winding roads, and beautiful stops along the way that make for the perfect vacation. The entire Wild Atlantic Way is nearly 1,600 miles long. So if you're looking for culture, great food, adventure, hiking, there's definitely a part of the Wild Atlantic Way for you!
Most people who do the West Atlantic Way from Dublin will head straight across the country's main highway to County Galway. Galway is a great city to start your journey on the West Atlantic Way and is only about a two-hour drive from Dublin. Here you'll find a city that is full of history, festivals, and pubs to enjoy before you go on your adventure.
Camping
There are two types of places that you can stop with your campervan overnight in Ireland, including campsites, approved motorhome parking, and wild camping. There are many campsites throughout Ireland and several close to the Wild Atlantic Way. Camps in Ireland range from basic necessities to having an abundance of amenities like pools, dancing, and entertainment.
Wild camping is also an option, especially since you'll have a campervan with you! This means that you can pitch your tent or campervan in the wild without the confines of a campsite on open land and get back into the rural feeling of camping. One thing to keep in mind for campervans is that you won't be allowed to park on private or public property without permission. You can always ask, and there are many tools to help you find locations online! Most are free or lower cost than campsites.
The West Island Way is the best way to experience the true nature of Ireland, and the best way to drive it is with a campervan. So make sure to reach out to Campervan Ireland to help you build your dream vanlife vacation to Ireland and the West Atlantic Way!
